Come Together Festival is a day festival so there is no camping at the event. The location is within close proximity to Newcastle city centre with a large number of hotel options should you be staying over or attending multiple dates.

This is a fully standing event. If you require assistance, please head to the welfare tent located next to the accessible entrance. Please be aware that we have now reached capacity for the Accessible Viewing Areas. We will continue to review applications for all other facilities – please email the accessibility team at accessibility@cometogetherfestival.info to send your request.

If you require accessible or companion tickets, please send your request to accessibility@cometogetherfestival.info. You will be contacted by the team once you have made your inquiry.

How to apply for Accessible Facilities

Before applying for onsite facilities, please ensure you have a valid Come Together Festival ticket. 

You will need your booking reference number to complete your accessibility application. (If you require an Essential Companion, please do not purchase a ticket for your companion as the ticket will be provided for free and cannot be refunded after application).

If you require any accessible facilities, we kindly ask that you complete the accessibility application process.

The Accessibility Team will review your application and come back to you with confirmation of your approved facilities within 7 working days.

Temporary Impairments

Please be aware that temporary impairments or short term conditions are not facilitated within the accessibility application process. 

If you have a temporary condition, such as a broken bone, infection or are pregnant and have any concerns, please contact our customer service team for assistance – enquiries@cometogetherfestival.info 

Essential Companions

Essential companion tickets are available upon approval of your accessibility application. The ticket for your essential companion is provided free of charge, so please remember not to purchase their ticket as they cannot be refunded after the application process.

Please be aware of the following essential companion guide lines: 

  • Your Essential Companion must be over 18 years of age.
  • They must be willing and able to assist with your needs and requirements throughout both the application process (if needed) and for the duration of the event.
  • They must be able to assist in the unlikely event of an emergency situation and/or evacuation.
  • They must have prior experience in the role and understand the needs of the individual.
  • The Essential Companion must arrive and leave the event with the accessibility customer.
  • The Essential Companion ticket will be collected on entry and not issued in advance.


Accessible Facilities

Toilets

Wheelchair accessible and standard toilets will be available across the event site and close to the viewing area. The locations will be indicated on the event map. 

Changing Places Unit

A changing places unit will be available and will include an adult changing bed, toilet sink and hoist. Please remember to bring your own hoist slings as they will not be provided. 

The location of the unit will be indicated on the event map. 

Accessible Viewing Areas

The Accessible Viewing Area is available within the main stage arena. 

The area includes a raised platform and ground level viewing area that provide a comfortable space for our disabled fans to watch the performances. 

Please be aware that capacity of the accessible viewing area is limited, as such, we will approve applications for platforms on a first come first served basis. 

To ensure that we can accommodate as many accessibility guests as possible within the viewing area, approval can only be granted to the accessibility customer and their essential companion or nominated person. 

Raised Viewing Platform

The raised viewing platform is intended for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility and is approved on this basis. 

The raised platform will have:

  • Ramped access
  • Wheelchair charging points
  • Accessible toilets
  • Drinking water refill point

The platforms are operated on a first come first served basis on the day. Seating will be available. Please be considerate of other guests.

Anybody found to be misusing the platforms or behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave the platform.

The platforms are not covered, so please bring appropriate clothing for hot weather, cold or rain. 

Ground Level Viewing Areas

The ground level viewing area is intended for people who cannot stand for long periods of time, or need a space away from the crowded areas of the event.

The ground level viewing area is positioned in front of the raised platform so do not provide an unobstructed view of the stage.

The viewing areas are operated on a first come first served basis on the day.

Limited seating will be available. Please be considerate of other guests.

Anybody found to be misusing the platforms or behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave the area.

The ground level viewing areas are not covered, so please bring appropriate clothing for hot weather, cold or rain. Please note that golf / large umbrellas (1 metre or more) are not allowed onsite.

Accessible Entrance Lanes

Dedicated accessible entry lanes will be available at each of the below locations:

  • Box Office
  • Main Entrance
  • All Main Bars
  • Official Merchandise Stand

Medical and Welfare

First aid and medical facilities will be available throughout the event. 

If you do require assistance, and are able to, please make your way to the medical tent in the main arena. Otherwise, please make yourself known to a member of staff who will assist.

Medication and Essential Medical Equipment

As a general rule, medication is not allowed to be brought into the event, however we are aware that some customers may need to carry their medication with them. 

To make your arrival easy and avoid delays, please:

Medication

  • Bring your prescription or a doctor’s letter, and ID that matches your name and address.
  • Keep all medication in its original packaging with your name on the label.
  • Loose medication (not in its packaging) is not allowed.
  • Only bring the amount you need for the day — no extra.
  • Be ready to show these at the entrance if asked.

Medical Marijuana

  • Medical Marijuana prescribed for medical use may be brought into the event.
  • Please bring it in its prescribed form along with the prescription confirming the stated amount required for the duration of the day.
  • Please make us aware of this in your Accessibility Application.

Disposing of Sharps

Safe deposit of sharps or medical equipment can be found at the medical tent in the arena.

Food and drink

We understand that many accessibility customers have a need to carry food and drink to take alongside medication or to assist with specific dietary requirements.

As such, approved accessibility customers are permitted to bring food and drinks bigger than 500ml (unopened / sealed / no glass & no alcohol) into the event via the dedicated accessibility lane.

Bag Restrictions

As a general rule, bags no larger than an A4 sheet of paper (210mm x 297mm) can be brought into the event. However, we recognise the need for some customers to carry essential items to assist with their needs at the event.

As such, accessibility customers only (not Essential Companions or guests) may bring a bag larger than A4. Please be aware that your bag may be searched on entry.

If you will be carrying sensitive items or medical equipment that must stay sterile, please let us know on your application so that we are aware ahead of your arrival. 

Deaf Customers

Induction hearing loops will be positioned at the box offices and viewing area.

For customers requiring BSL interpretation services, a free service will be provided on request. If approved on application, we will be in touch with further information.

Assistance Dogs

If you require the support of an assistance dog, please make us aware on your accessibility application. 

Due to the nature of the event, there will be large crowds, loud volumes, flashing lights and pyrotechnics. Please consider this before bringing your assistance dog, and be confident that they will be comfortable in  this environment. 

Parking / Drop Off

Please be aware that capacity of accessible car park is limited due to restrictions of the overall site layout and size. As such, we will approve applications for car parking spaces on a first come first served basis. If applications become full, we will make all customers aware via the event website and notify you in your application response.

There will however, be a pick up and drop off point located near to site on Claremont Road which will be signposted.

Ground Conditions / Weather

The Town Moor is an outdoor venue, with uneven areas. Some grassed areas are large with no solid pathways or hard ground.

It is important to be aware that during wet weather, some parts of the site may be muddy, water-logged, or dusty and may be difficult to navigate around.

Special Effects & Lighting

Some performances may use special effects such as smoke machines, lasers, strobe lights, moving lights, fireworks, and other effects at this event. Be aware that they may be used at any time.

  • 0-4 are not permitted at the event.
  • 5-13 years olds must be accompanied by an adult over aged 18 or over.
  • The event recommends 14-15 years olds attend with an adult aged 18 or over.

Doors to the event open at 13:30. Last entry to the event will be 21:00.

The box office will be open between 12:30 and 20:00 and is located next to the main entrance of the event.

Tickets issued for the original date (physical, email or digital wallet) will be automatically valid for the new date. You don’t need to do anything, other than bring them to the festival ready to be scanned.
 
If you need your tickets re-sending to you, please contact the ticket agent you purchased them from.

No, once you leave the site you will not be allowed back in. Please plan for your day.

Bags no larger than A4 are permitted into the event, local bag storage locations can be found on stasher.com. 

No. All chairs, seats, shooting sticks, tables etc are not permitted at the event. If you require accessible viewing please send a request to our team at accessibility@cometogetherfestival.info

No external food or drink is permitted to be brought into the event, this is with the exception of water in an unopened plastic container up to 500ml. We will have a wide variety of catering options and licensed bars throughout the event for you to enjoy.

A Challenge 25 Policy will be implemented at all of our licenced bars. If you are lucky enough to look under 25, we may ask you to prove your age when entering the event or when attempting to buy alcohol as part of our Challenge 25 Alcohol Policy.

  • 1. Passport (not a photocopy). Foreign passports are acceptable if in suitable condition and include a photograph. 
  • 2. Full or provisional photo card driving licence issued by the DVLA. 
  • 3. Proof Of Age Card – The card must be part of the PASS scheme and carry their hologram. 
  • If you are under 18 you are committing an offence if you attempt to buy alcohol. Similarly, anyone purchasing alcohol for someone under 18 is committing an offence.

All animals, with the exception of assistance dogs, will not be permitted into the event at any time.

It is not permitted to smoke cigarettes (or electronic cigarettes) at the indoor bars and venues. Please dispose of your cigarette butts responsibly.

Come Together Festival is a cashless site – Box Office, bars, food traders, fairgrounds and merchandise operate a card only payment process, no cash can be accepted on site.

Come Together Festival is an outdoor event, please check the weather forecast ahead of time and dress accordingly. Umbrella’s are a prohibited item, for more information on prohibited items please check the prohibited items list below.

There will be free drinking water available at the event which will be signposted.

Welfare and First Aid Welfare and First Aid provision will be available in the arena and operational during the event hours. 

The Ask for Angela initiative will be in operation at Come Together Festival. If you, your friends or family feel vulnerable at any moment, you can ask a member of the bars, traders, stewarding or event management teams for ‘Angela’ and they will be able to provide discreet and appropriate support.

Come Together Festival operates a strict age policy, with 0 – 4 year olds not allowed entry into the event and anyone 15 and under needing to be accompanied by an adult. Please take responsibility for any children within your group, it is advised to arrange a meeting point at the festival in case anyone does become lost or disorientated. The Welfare Tent, located in the event arena is the advised meeting point for all customers. 

Any illegal or antisocial behaviour whether generally or towards a member of staff or public will not be tolerated at the event. This will lead to ejection from the event. For the safety of all our visitors, crowd surfing and moshing are prohibited.

Searches will be carried out upon entry to Come Together Festival, please refer to our prohibited items list to ensure that you do not bring anything that is restricted to the event site. 

Customers are advised to go to the Welfare Tent, that is located in the event arena, if they have lost property and a member of the Welfare Team will advise them on if their lost property has been handed in. Lost property may not be found straight away, so if the item cannot be located then customers are advised to fill out a lost item form at https://notlostenquiry.com/tlc-welfare/. The details will then be processed by the Welfare Team, who will aim to reunite the customer with their lost property. All details provided via the lost item form will only be used for the purposes of reuniting a customer with their lost property. If an item is unclaimed, this will be donated to charity or recycled. 

The below items are not permitted into Come Together Festival 2025:

  • Bags larger than A4 in size
  • Glass
  • Aerosols
  • Blow torches, petrol burners, cooking equipment including bbq’s
  • Explosives or flammable items – including flares, fireworks, candles, lanterns, smoke bombs, etc
  • Food or drink – unless pre-approved for medical reasons
  • Any bottle over 100ml is not permitted, with the exception of sealed, unopened bottles of water up to 500ml, this includes suncream.
  • Animals – with the exception of assistance dogs
  • Professional cameras
  • Chairs or any other furniture
  • Drones
  • Umbrellas – please check the weather forecast before attending the event and dress appropriately
  • Drones
  • Flag poles
  • Selfie stricks
  • Laser equipment 
  • Unofficial tabards or reflective jackets
  • Megphone, airhorns, sound systems
  • Stickers or confetti 
  • Hand held communication devices, such as radios 
  • Scooters, skateboards or bicycles 
  • Unauthorised items for trading, including merchandise 
  • Promotional or commercial items
  • Weapons or sharp objects – anything that could be reasonably considered a weapon
  • Any other items which the event organisers consider in our sole discretion may cause a disruption to the Event or to other patrons, or which may be unsafe or pose a risk to public safety and/or security (regardless of whether or not such item is illegal or is carried for specific purposes)

Everyone attending the event, including staff, will be searched upon entry so please ensure that you do not bring a prohibited item to the event site. If a person breaches the terms and conditions of entry, it may result in refusal of entry or ejection from the event.
